10.01 Caryl thoughts

I had made a joke after reading the reviews that it would be fun to see Daryl saying bye bye to training and everything to go on a bike ride with Carol and the episode just gave me that, what did we do to get so much goodness

Like S9 this episode again made it clear how much Carol means to Daryl and how much choices he is making based on his bond with her

1. He did said good bye to training and all , he was like Carol is here and I am free for whatever she wants to do

2. He actually , verbally said he would stay and not go with their people to take a check on if whispers are on the area with Michonne, that’s a major big moment like Daryl is their tracker and he is always so ready to do whatever it takes for the Family but he decided to stay back to greet Carol and no it’s not a thrown away scene.

it reminded me to this how he looked at Carol before leaving

Also the sad look on his face when Michonne said ask her to say goodbye before leaving, it break my heart :(

3. The dock scene, the wave to each other, the smile on their faces. The very cute hug. Also he did forgot his dog like Connie said but then he let her keep him (I guess?) for the time since he is absolutely free for Carol ;P

And the dock reunion scene with Zeke and Connie is again can’t be coincidence , to me it was like both Daryl and Carol have options, people who probably want to spend more time with them but they are pulled to each other,everyone vanished the moment they are together, Priorities!!

4.I liked how the bike trip was Carol’s idea and how she let herself have a good time with Daryl and she also asked him to run away with her, which he very likely seem to be thinking about. I also appreciate that they did show a little tension between them regarding their ideology of current situation which will be stressed further, the reason why Carol would be a pain in Daryl’s ass I figure

5. Daryl Dixon made a jewelry with his hands for Carol.I love the bracelet part, and how their time in the woods is like their kind of date and her smile while he was acting like a awkward kid

I know some people might have liked it a little more holding hand type but to me it was perfect Daryly way. He is kind of a confused one when it comes to these emotions , he is probably thinking does this mean something more or not

6.The last part where he very seriously asked her to stay and then added ‘think about it’ , like he does want Carol to stay very obviously but he also understands her vulnerability and is not forcing his needs on her

Bonus: Daryl asked Carol to come back home :), sweet

I am happy with Caryl :) , they are soulmates
