why is it so hard for some people to appreciate a slow burn relationship? sometimes it’s just too typical to have characters kiss and confess their love for each other by the end of season 1. I use to hate slow burns but I’ve come to appreciate them. I love seeing the characters start off as friends or acquaintances. I like seeing them deal with conflict on their own, be happy on their own, and be sad in their own. Then a friendship starts to bloom, and they start to explore their relationship through being friends. They’re happy together as friends, they’re sad together as friends, they argue as friends. Then romantic feelings slowly start to build and they explore those feelings together, or one may catch feelings at a slower or faster rate than the other. And once they’re both confident in their feelings for each other their romance turns into something memorable, and real. Appreciate slow burns because they’re quite beautiful.
