He was so angry and hurt that she broke the promise she made to him down there. He pointed at her angrily before she reached out for him to tell him to blame her. It occurs to me that his anger is somewhat disarmed when she is pleading with him to blame her…like she’s begging to be punished. She really regresses here to that person she was back at the farm when she told Daryl to go ahead and hit her and take his anger out on her. I think ultimately Daryl is hurting because he feels like he has truly lost Carol, like he doesn’t think he can bring her back around.
