Isaw many people criticizing Carol for being in “revenge” mode and somewhat blinded. Obviously I do not share this and here are my reasons:- Season 1: Carol was an abused woman who didn’t have much prominence.
- Season 2: Carol loses her daughter and spends most of the season crying for her. (Here began my shippeo with Daryl).- Season 3: Carol is learning, but still does not have much prominence. (I kept navigating with Daryl)
- Season 4: Carol was finally what she wanted, but Rick abandoned her. I can say that I really hate Rick for this. (My navigation with Daryl was maintained).- Season 5: Carol was strong, but Lizzy had happened, so she wanted to run away. (Carol and Daryl forever!)
- Season 6: Carol started with the farce in Alexandria. (Carol and Daryl drove away but my ship remained)
- Season 7: Carol wanted to die. He had that stupid bow that I hated a lot. (Although I hardly saw Daryl, my ship remained).
- Season 8: Someone reminds me what Carol did (?) I think she was in a house away from everyone for a while. (My ship was still standing)
- Season 9: Carol has this fairy tale with Zeke and loses her son. (But my Ship was strong)
- Season 10: Carol lost her son, has been through so many things, finally wants some revenge. She could not say goodbye to her daughter, had to kill Lizzy and also snatched the child she grew up as a child. DESERVE THIS! Carol deserves to be given back some of what they have taken away. And I love how they have taken her, that although she hates alpha so much, Lydia tells her that she is similar to her.
Carol has been through a lot, I like to see her take the lead, a strong woman. It is broken, but still standing. Obviously I still send Carol and Daryl, but I like them to have conflicts. Not everything is perfect in this life, no type of relationship will be perfect or else it is just a fantasy. I like that they care about each other, even that involves Lydia in all this. I would like to see how one day they become a family.
Lydia was abused by her mother, as was Daryl by her father and Carol by her husband. The 3 have that painful past in common, and I feel they deserve each other to be happy. I know it’s a show, but please! Let them be a happy family once all this is over.
Also, can we talk about how beautiful Melissa McBride looks? and I love Norman too. On and off the screen they are perfect. <3
